ALLAH (God) Is Not The Author of Confusion

Confusion: (noun) “Lack of understanding; uncertainty”; “A situation of panic; a breakdown of order”; “A disorderly jumble”; “The state of being bewildered or unclear in one's mind about something”; “The mistaking of one person or thing for another”. (lexico dot com powered by Oxford).

One of the foremost names for ALLAH (God) is ‘TRUTH’; and truth, as we all know, means ‘evidence’. If when you read the Holy Qur’an you are confused over what you are reading, it is because you either do not understand or know the time and historic circumstance in which the words of the Holy Qur’an are being revealed. It also could mean that we do not know how to read time. If we cannot correlate yesterday with today, we are lost in our ascertaining understanding of tomorrow. While the Bible and Holy Qur’an were revealed with context within the last 5,000 years, it was relevant then and revelatory now, all the way up to the door of the Hereafter where evil will be removed from self and from the world around us.

The Scriptures of both the Bible and Holy Qur’an are, in my opinion, the greatest self-help books you will ever read! If and when we want to get in shape and build our health status, we must start with spiritual development and then intellectual revival in order to have the energy to revitalize our bodies. Spiritual and mental nutrition is what you get every time you bring ALLAH (God) to mind as the Holy Qur’an teaches that the remembrance of ALLAH is the greatest force. Force here means active power! There is no revitalization of the force within your being without spirit which is the same as energy that is generated every time you literally focus your mind’s attention on ALLAH. Some may say “How do you focus on ALLAH?” Jesus, in the Bible, says none is good but the Father. Then to think on ALLAH (God) mathematically would be the equivalent of thinking GOOD. In Islam, we think of ALLAH; evident in 99 Attributes and activated through prayer. It is the positive expression and honest, humane orientation of the Attributes of God that render Good in everything that we think, say, and do.

As a Muslim, I am taught that ALLAH (God) made everything in creation subservient to ‘MAN’. Yet man himself is made subservient only to ALLAH! Man is created by ALLAH as the physical material (vehicle) by which His Will is revealed. In the Bible it says, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24 KJV). If we could worship God in spirit and never in form, we could extract God as well as interact with God through and in every aspect of His cosmic creation. The Sun, Moon and Stars represent Attributes of God. Plant life, marine biology, land animals, creatures of flight and human beings regardless of their creed, class or color all possess attributes of God to be worshipped in spirit every time we can identify Good in them. “None is good but one, that is God.” (Luke 18:19, Matthew 19:17, Mark 10:18 KJV). The key in applying this principle of worshipping God in Spirit is that you understand that when we get stuck or caught up in the physical, material forms compared to the spirit, we are developing IDOLATRY.

God is not an ‘idol’ nor is He ‘idle’; but is The Spirit that should be sought for in all living, created forms. In the Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, they always reference the root source and originating feed of what they teach as coming from ALLAH (God) ‘IN’ the Person of Master Fard Muhammad (a man) and THROUGH the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan (men).

I’m reminded from the words of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad in his book Message to the Blackman on page 2: “If God is not material, what pleasure would He get out of material beings and the material universe?” From this same principle, as human beings we cannot love one another in spirit alone but it must be manifested through our manners, conduct, behavior and the most important attribute of all human interpersonal relationships which is SERVICE! We know when anyone claims to love us by the aforementioned attributes displayed and by the attitude of said love. I know ALLAH (God) loves me because I acknowledge His Love in everything and everyone in and around my life playing different roles that sustain my existence. I sustain and communicate my gratitude to ALLAH (God) through prayer and consistent remembrance of Him in mind through the challenges of every day which I take as reminders that ALLAH is God and besides him there are no other Gods. In this way, I am never confused (disordered) in my mind and my thinking. Since I don’t know everything, how do I, or can we, avoid becoming confused? It is by seeking refuge in ALLAH from anxiety and grief, lack of strength and laziness, cowardice and niggardliness, and being overpowered by debt and the oppression of men. I make my God sufficient for me in all of my needs!... Yes, this can work for anyone who will sincerely surrender their will to serve the Will of ALLAH. 😇
