On Why the Remembrance of ALLAH is the Greatest Force

In The Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, we are taught that our true self is a righteous Muslim, which literally means, by nature, we are Created to do everything right. This is morally and figuratively by and through our expressions. Our expressions, which are reactionary to our basic 5 senses, and for some, even the 6th sense speaks to what we hear, see, smell, feel, taste, and the 6th sense is referencing our intuitive ability.

However, our learning ability in how we conduct our response to our senses must be managed morally. When we speak of "morals" we are addressing a code or rule that addresses how we interpret reality. This brings up in the mind how it is that 'perception of reality to each is real'. Perception is based on our interpretation of reality through our senses. We shouldn't judge others for being 'over-sensitive'. We should be most careful with persons we do not exhibit much sensitivity at all (LOL).

Have you noticed from movies to real life (yes... I’m a movie buff), how the main character, if a murderer, thief, or con-man, their ability to commit crimes successfully is due to them not feeling compassion or anything about the people they rob, kill, or simply manipulate?

So it is with our great human capacity. We can do amazing things without caring about persons we hurt, rob, manipulate, or even kill to achieve our objectives. Good morals are never exhibited without compassion (sense of concern for others) and respect for life. A compassionate person generally will not hurt or violate others or themselves if the governing principle is respect for life.

Compassion is one of the great 99 Known Attributes of ALLAH (GOD), which is why most imams or ministers speak of GOD through this attribute of compassion, relative to the human being. What kind of mother is it that lacks compassion for her child? What kind of husband or wife is it that lacks compassion for their marriage? Religiously, what kind of Believers are we who lack compassion for the Will & Way of GOD for His Creation?

Now, we may begin to understand how critical the following words are from the Holy Quran that read:

"Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up prayer. Surely prayer keeps (one) away from indecency and evil; and certainly the remembrance of Allah is the greatest (force). And Allah knows what you do”

When —by circumstance or condition of life— we become desensitized, we do not make good friends, family members, civilians, and much much less, loving companions. In fact, it's precisely when we claim to love someone without compassion that love is really lust.

“Lust is a psychological force producing intense desire for an object, or circumstance while already having a significant other or amount of the desired object. Lust can take any form such as the lust for sexuality, love, money, or power.” (Wikipedia)

As we look at the above definition for lust and the forms that lust expresses itself in, do different individuals in your life, maybe even yourself come to mind? When we lack compassion for anyone, we can't be a true friend or loving companion. It may be our concept of self or self-value that is disturbed that we cannot share it or produce it in others. Long before we commit an indecent act on others, we have likewise done the same to ourselves or we are the victims of what someone else has done to us and in essence, we are behaving out of their 'VALENCE'.

I have a great appreciation, personally, for my studies of the scientific research of Mr. L. Ron Hubbard under what he terms as Dianetics, where our process of learning starts with an analysis of what was done to us, culminating with acceptance of what we have done to others. Many of us get stuck on what was done to us, in the area of violations, and become blinded to later, what we have done and may continue to do to others. This is precisely how the Supreme Wisdom of the Nation of Islam in the United States of America, has been taught 20 years before Mr. L Ron Hubbard's discoveries were made known. The methodology that I'm referring to in the process of mentally and spiritually lifting and resurrecting a fallen people such as we, the Black man & woman in America, & the darker people around the world, starts with an analysis of what was done to us, and who were the perpetrators?

Note: It's very interesting, in this first step of analysis and examination over what was done to us or you as an individual, it becomes a most trying one, because initially its realization emotionally makes us appear as our victimizers, which makes our perpetrators and violators appear as the victims by the outrage of our protest. For anyone who has been mistreated in some way— the violator always lies, acts like they don't remember, or as in court, they plead the 5th.

A people who have never received justice, are not likely to be just to anyone, starting with themselves. This may be why in most forms of violation, the violated become the violators. In my humble opinion, this is why, for us in the Nation of Islam, and maybe any conscious individual that believes in GOD, True Justice must come to us from GOD Himself, Who is free of sin and can perform and prescribe the right way to redemption and moral & mental resurrection from the state of consciousness, where what was done to us becomes the character of our daily lives. Unhappiness and cruelty have become the valence out of which many of us as victims have learned to survive what we have experienced. So, psychologically, the victimization in our personal lives never seems to cease.

To stop the insanity, we must seek refuge in Almighty GOD (ALLAH) through patience and prayer, to develop the inner strength and stamina to be what we want to see. This is why and how the Remembrance of ALLAH is the Greatest Force. To be continued. 😇
